Masud Hasan Ujjal is a famous Bangladeshi film director, musician, and artist. He graduated from Dhaka University in Fine Arts in 2003. He took music lessons as a second-grade kid and learnt Rabindra sangeet. He was skilled in playing guitar since childhood and also in painting. He had a passion for music since the beginning and started a rock band called ‘Meghdol,’ of which he was an active member until 2010. After leaving the band, he had a difficult time processing it as he had an emotional attachment to it. But right after he entered the world of films. He began his journey as a director and worked on dramas and commercials.
In 2024, he decided to dive back to music and established a new band called Omkar. He won the Best Director Award at Rainbow Film Festival for his film Unoponchash Batash. Another of his films Incomplete Breath won at the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival. He has a perfect balance of music and film direction and knows all the struggles with both professions. He continues to create more excellent projects in the near future.
