He also played prominent roles in films like Hason Raja in 2002, Megher Pore Megh in 2004, Chandra Grohon in 2008, Jibondhuli in 2014, Rupsha Nodir Banke in 2020, and many more. Uttam Goha debuted as an assistant director with a documentary Tv movie, Bostrobalikara: Garment Girls of Bangladesh, with director Tanvir Mokammel.

Later, he also worked in Swapnabhumi, a documentary released on 30 November 2007. The film starred Eddie Nilsson and has released on 1 May 2007. Uttam Guha assisted a renowned director of the Bangladeshi film industry, Tanvir Mokammel, in the movies like Rabeya in 2008, The Japanese Wife in 2012, Jibondhuli in 2014, Rupsha Nodir Banke in 2020, and many more.
