Indranil Ghosh is a Bengali Art Director who has predominantly worked in the Bengali film industry. He was born on 17 November 1965 in Kolkata. Ghosh has worked on many projects, among which the most notable ones are Chokher Bali (2003), Antarmahal (2005), Nouka Dubi (2005), Iti Mrinalini (2011), Ek Je Chilo Raja (2018), Parinita (2019) and many more. Apart from Bengali films, he has also worked in Hindi, Oriya, and Marathi films. He has also worked as a Production Designer in Samaantar, which is a Marathi film released in 2009. His works in Hindi include Raincoat, which was released in 2004, and his career in the Oriya industry includes Yuddha, which was released in 2005.
Being one of the most sought-after Art Directors in the film industry has also brought him several accolades. He won several awards for his creativity and artistry. In 2004 he won the BFJA awards for the category Best Art Direction for the film Chokher Bali released in 2003. He again won the BFJA award in 2006 for the same category as the first for Art ,Direction for ,the movie Antarmahal released in 2005. The film Chokher Bali got him the National Film Awards (2003) for Best Art Direction.
