Sohana Saba

Sharmin Sohana Saba, better known as Sohana Saba, is a Bangladeshi actor, screenplay writer, producer and dancer who was born on the 12th of October, in the year 1986. She was born and brought up in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. She was married to Murad Parvez Murad Parvez is a Bengali Actor, Producer, Editor, >> Read More... , a Bangladeshi film and television director. She has also worked with Murad Parvez in the past. Sohana Saba attended University Laboratory school and college. After that, she was a student at the Dhaka Women’s College. She furthered her education by getting a bachelor’s degree in fashion design. She got this degree from the Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology. She is a trained and very skilled classical dancer. She received her dance training from Bulbul Lalitokola Academy and Chayanaut. She was always very passionate about dance and even started her career as a dancer.

She later started appearing in T.V. commercials and films. Sohan Saba debuted her film acting career by playing the lead role in the film Ayna. This role won her the Best Film Actress Award in the Meril Prothom Alo Awards. After that, she became a part of many films and T.V. series. Her works include films like Brihonnola, Khelaghor, Shororipu, Priotomeshu and Chandra Grohon. She also appeared in some T.V. series such as Boli and Anyabaji Original Series. Her performance in all these is appreciated a lot. She was also the costume designer for Brihonnola and Chandra Grohon. She was also the producer of Brihonnola.
