Sharmila Tagore is a Bengali actress, who later shifted to the Hindi film industry, who was born on 8th December, 1944. Apart from being an actress, she stood as a member of Indian Film Censor Board for seven years. She was also chosen as UNICEF Goodwill ambassador from India.
