She attended school in Dhaka. She was a student at Viqarunnisa Noon School & College. After her schooling, she enrolled at the University of Dhaka. She got her Master’s in Anthropology from there. She also holds a Ph.D. and the topic of her Ph.D. thesis was Position and Working Environment for Women in the Media.
