Rajaditya Banerjee is a scriptwriter, filmmaker, actor, director, producer, screenwriter, and poet. He holds a Master's Degree (MA) in Indian History from the University of Calcutta, India. Additionally, he has a diploma in Digital Filmmaking from The Baltic Film & Media School University of Tallinn, Estonia. Having been born into a family of talented actors, Rajadutya Banerjee is not left out. His late brother, Bappaditya Bandopadhyay, was an actor who produced many films that got recognized in foreign countries asides from India. His father is Debashish Banerjee. Rajaditya Banerjee has acted in several movie studios in India, Europe, and the United States.
He played the lead role in movies like; Death of a Salesman, I Didn't Return Home, Silent Genocide, and It's About to Rain (Bristi Asche). He also played a role in three short movies; Lovers (2015), Life (2014), and Casual Friday (2015). In 2017, Rajaditya released a film titled "Death Certificate" This movie has been shown in several international festivals. The movie received the award of Best Film on Social Issues, Delhi, India, 2018, Best Film on Women Empowerment, JIFF in 2018, and Best Film on Social Awareness, Toronto, Canada. He also produced Shobhika (2018), Shivaratri (2022), Lost for Words(2022), and Dying Art of the Bohurupee of Bengal (2021). Asides from being a passionate actor, Rajaditya has also produced documentaries that address humanity.
