Acharya is an action entertainer scripted and directed by Koratala Siva. “Chiranjeevi,” Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, “Nassar,” Vennela Kishore, Saurav Lokesh, Kishore, Banerjee, Tanikella Bharani, and Actor Ajay feature in important roles. Regina Cassandra, Satyadev Kancharana, and Sangeetha Krish appeared in cameo roles. Mani Sharma composed the music. Tirru handled the camera, and Navin Nooli edited the film.
Plot
It was stated that the Goddess descended from paradise to save people and settles on the earth. A temple was built for her, and Dharmasthali and Padaghattam were also formed near the temple. Nearby these, Siddhavanam, a forest area, is located. Basava of Dharmasthali is involved in illegal activities. Rathod, a businessman, finds out that Siddhavanam is a suitable place for his illicit mining business and plans to get it. When these are going this way, Acharya, a new man, enters Dharmasthali. He is connected to Siddha and Neelambari. Who are those two? Why does Acharya enter the scene? All these form the rest of the story.
Star Performance
As usual, Chiranjeevi looks energetic and super cool. His style is incomparable. Ram Charan has done his part as usual.
Analysis
Though the presence of Chiru attracts the fans, the film seems to be incomplete. Many scenes are predictable. Kajal Aggarwal has shot some scenes for the film. But, her part is trimmed. Pooja Hegde didn’t have anything special to do. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan had already done some interesting characters, so this didn’t give the audience the expected satisfaction. Ajay is given a different role. Sonu and Jisshu were provided with the usual villainy roles. The music is quite okay. But a couple of songs seem to have been inserted forcibly. The visuals are neat.

Verdict
Though the story didn’t impress much, Chiranjeevi’s style and action performance are a treat to his fans.
