Care Of Footpath 2 Movie Review
ORE AST REW
- Kishan Shrikanth
Care of Footpath 2 is India’s lateral entry in 2016 Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. A point to be noted is that this is the first ever movie in Sandalwood to have received an Oscar selection.
This movie deals with juvenile delinquency and has the backdrop of an urban area. You cannot label it as a loyal sequel to Care of Footpath, it has just retained the title. This movie revolves around four teenage buddies from the slum areas of Bengaluru. The four hatch on a plan to kill a policeman and become a sensation. Will they turn reformed braving all the odds? Watch the movie to find out.
Kishan is quite ok in his role. Dingri Naresh and Jayram Karthik have done full justice to their roles. It is good to see Esha Deol in such a role. Avika Gor has done a neat job. Deep Pathak too has performed well.
1.The script of the movie is outstanding.
2.The editing is par excellence.
3.The background score is engaging.
4.The movie is well interspersed with action, crime and the emotional aspects.
What’s not there?
Certain scenes could have been edited to make the movie crisper. But this is just a minor flaw of the movie.
Care of Footpath was released over a decade before, and now its sequel has hit the screens. Kishan turned a child prodigy with Care of Footpath; his name was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest director. And with Care of Footpath 2 he has evolved even more matured.
The movie has drawn inspiration from true happenings and delivers a powerful message. It is vivid that the director had taken the lot of efforts to make this movie a proud presentation. Kishan (just in his age of 19) seems to have cast his magic in all the departments of the film industry. He is indeed an asset to the Indian cinema.
Kishan is the new face of Indian cinema..just don’t miss this film.
