The weak side of the society is always experimented by the Kannada film industry, and Bettanagere is one such attempt. Director Madhu Gowda has touched upon the real life story of Bettanagere rowdies Seenu and Shankar. Since he is a relative of these rowdies, it is apparent that he mainly concentrates on their goodness.
Plot
The plot centres on the two brothers and how they turned evil.
Analysis:
The sentiments and the oft-seen rowdies of Kannada gangster films are prevalent in this flick too. Besides the predictable elements, there is a flashback that tells the lives of the Bettanagere rowdies, who terrorised Northern Bengaluru from 2002 to 2012. . The director earnestly tries to show the ups and downs of the rowdies in this film.

5. The film struggles in showcasing the evil-natured characters of the brothers.
6. The film lags in the second half.
Verdict
In spite of its weaknesses, the film is a genuine effort by the debutant director who has taken the subject of his family.
