RRR Issue Sorted Out In Karnataka?

“RRR,” the highly anticipated pan-Indian film, was directed by SS Rajamouli of “Baahubali” fame. The film has a huge star cast representing various film industries in and out of India. Along with the lead actors Ram Charan and “N T Rama Rao Jr,” the film has Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt in important roles. “Samuthirakani” from the Tamil film industry had already marked his impression in the Telugu film industry as an actor and a director. He plays an important role in RRR. English actors Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson are also featured in the film. Shriya Saran, the multi-lingual star, plays a crucial role too.

It was stated that the film would be releasing in Karnataka in Telugu and Tamil versions, and there are no Kannada versions available. So, the Kannada fans started trending a hashtag Boycott RRR in Karnataka. Following this, the Karnataka distributor, KVN Productions, announced that they would try to get as many screens as possible for the Kannada version and revealed that Jr NTR and Ram Charan learned Kannada, dubbed their voices in the Kannada version.
