Shilpa Reddy

Shilpa Reddy is a noted model in Hyderabad town. Besides taking her career in modeling, she is also a renowned fashion designer in Tollywood and fitness expert. She was a winner of Gladrags Mrs. India contest in 2004 and thereafter had been designing outfits and promoting them in special events held now and then in the Pearl city Hyderabad. Although Shilpa hails from a conservative Telugu family, she embraced modeling as her career and her mother had been supportive of her interest right from her childhood.

Shilpa went to Toronto in Canada, to get a degree in fashion. She got married to Preetham Reddy in 2003 who is the brother of the actress of Keerti Reddy and a famous businessman in Hyderabad. Recently she launched a multi-cuisine restaurant in the city of Hyderabad which was inaugurated by Nagarjuna Akkineni. The couple is happily married and has a son. Besides modeling, she also takes up humanitarian work to mould her life in various social aspects. Hence she gets associated with cancer awareness programs and holds workshops to create some awareness among public.

After her marriage, her career in modeling and fashion designing reached its zenith due to the support of her husband. In the year 2004, she contested for Mrs. India contest and her husband insisted her to take up any opportunity that comes in her way and she won the title too. After her marriage, she had cut down her work on modeling and pageants and has open up her own line of clothing called ‘Shilpa Reddy’ that presents silhouettes and provides the bridal trousseau a new dimension with sophisticated cuts and design. She featured in the Tulip magazine where she spoke on the essence of motherhood.
