Ambarish Bhattacharya grew up in a culturally rich home and environment in Kolkata, where he learned to appreciate and practice art, music, and Theatre from his father, Abani Bhattacharya. Ambarish graduated with honors in English from Manindra Chandra College in Kolkata after finishing his education at Calcutta Boys School. Following his early career in Theatre in the early 2000s, where he was a member of group theatres, Ambarish moved to Bengali television, where his first fiction comedy series "Raja & Goja: Bindas Moja," in which his character Goja became a household name, earned him tremendous acclaim.
