Poulomi Bhowmik is an executive producer and a freelance writer. She is a freelance writer in Bengali Television. Bhowmik began her career as the chief assistant director at Big Syn. Bhowmik earned her Bachelor of Arts – BA, English (Hons) in 2002 at Calcutta University, Kolkata. She also earned a First Class grade in P.G. Diploma in Mass Communication and Media studies at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. After five years at Big Syn, Bhowmik became the Chief Assistant Director and writer (films) at SVF Entertainment, Eskey Movies for three years.
She then joined Frames Production Company as a Creative Producer – fiction for less than a year. The following year, she became the creative producer – fiction at Raj Chakraborty Entertainment. At Viacom18 Media Private Limited she was the group head (fiction), and associate producer (fiction), of Colors Bangala for a year and five months. She was the group head (fiction) at Sun TV Network Limited for three years and six months. After her time at Sun TV, she became a freelancer. Bhowmik resides in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
