Ayali follows a family drama concept, written and directed by Muthukumar. Abi Nakshatra is playing the role of a teenage girl, Anumol is playing the role of Tamizh's mother and at the same time Madhan, Linga and Singampuli are seen as supporting actors in the series. Ayali is produced by Kushmavathi and the melodious music in the series is composed by Revaa. The realistic visuals in the series are captured by Ramji and edited by Ganesh Siva.
Plot
The series Narrates the story of a village where the people in the year 1990s followed the tradition of child marriage, especially marrying the girl child as soon as she hit puberty. However Tamizh Selvi’s ambition is to become a doctor instead of getting married at a young age. She prays to god wishing for a delayed puberty, but in return is disappointed. Tamizh belongs to a community where daughters are married as soon as they start menstruating. She is not ready to get married, so she hides her puberty and continues going to school. Soon Tamizh’s secret is revealed to her mother, but she convinces her to support her and let her pursue her dreams. To continue her studies, Tamizh has to appear for an examination in a different city. How will she reach the examination premises? How will she execute her dreams of becoming a doctor?
