There was a performance by the composer D. Imman, where he sang his hit songs, which were loved by the audience. A football and cricket match took place between the Tamil and Malaysian celebrities. Tamil celebrities won the cricket match, whereas the football match was a tie. The actor Aari was injured during the football match. There was a performance by the Malaysian kids as well. Kamal Hasan took everyone by surprise by landing in the middle of the field on a helicopter. The event was a grand success, and all the funds raised from the event were to be used to construct a South Indian Artists’ Association building in Chennai. Sun TV aired the show.
