D7 Mega Dance show is an Indian Tamil language dance reality competition show. Dance reality competition shows are an extension of reality television shows in which various participants are selected based on their talent and are then pitted against one another to prove to the world that who among them is the best from the lot. The show D7 Mega Dance show is one such reality competition television show in which various participants are selected after a rigorous audition process that takes place across the nation. The selected participants are then put against one another in different rounds of competition. They are also awarded points based on their dance performance by the judges and slowly round after round, participants are eliminated based on those points. The participant who stands with the highest point at the end of the show is awarded the title of the show and given the prize.
The show aired on the popular Tamil channel, Vasanth Tv. The show had a unique premise which made the show very popular among the regular television watching audience. Apart from the entertaining premise of the show, many popular actors made an appearance on the show which increased the show’s ratings.
