Yathumaki Nindrai was a mega TV serial aired on Zee Tamizh. Yathumaki Nindrai was produced by Media One Global Entertainment Limited. The story is about how at times innocent people are punished and criminals escape and roam freely in the society. With this as the basis of the storyline, this TV serial takes a look how this affects people from different walks in the present society. The creative heads for the show are yesteryear actresses Revathi and Rohini. Yathumaki Nindrai is directed by Saravanan, G P Krishna is the cinematographer for the show whereas Mani Bharathi is the music composer. 

Yathumaki Nindrai is broadcasted on weekdays from Mondays to Thursdays at 7 30 PM. Although Revathi and Rohini are known for acting in films and have also starred in TV, this is their first venture from behind the camera. Revathi was very keen on casting Swarnamalya after watching her performance in Bharthiraja’s Therkathi Ponnu. The production house of Media One Global Entertainment Limited which produced the show is now known for producing Soundarya Rajnikanth’s Rajnikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan.
