Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaad is a popular detective serial aired on PudhuYugam TV. The story revolves around Sakthivel, Assisstant Commissioner of Police, who cracks cases with a unique style and different approach. Rahman, a police Commissioner, driver Sabari and an investigative journalist Preethi support him in solving the cases. The popularity of the show lies in the way Sakthivel solves the various criminal cases ranging from a terrorist to a murderer and pickpocket. The various obstacles which come in the way of Sakthivel in solving the case makes the show really interesting and gripping.

Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaad is written and directed by Ram Vinayak. The background music for the show is helmed by Ilayavan. The lead role of Sakthivel is played by VJ-turned-actor Prajin. Prajin started his career as a Video Jockey for Sun TV and then ventured into acting in TV serials and movies. After donning supporting roles in various movies in Tamil and Malayalam, Prajin is starring in a lead role for the movie Manal Nagaram. The rest of the cast of Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupad include Susan, David, Vishwa, Swetha, Ahmed and many more.
