Vettai 4 The Force is a Tamil language TV serial that aired on the channel Media Corp Vasantham, a Singaporean-Tamil TV channel, every weekend at 10 pm for an hour till 11 pm. Vettai is a crime thriller that features a team of Tamilian Singapore police solving cold cases, i.e., the cases that couldn't be solved and are left open. These cases involve the Indian community and immigrants. They fight for the migrant Indians and NRIs who can’t fight for themselves. They solve murder cases, kidnappings, sexual assaults, corporate espionage and similar cases. Mugi and Meera only appeared for a little while. The cases were taken up by DSP Pradeep, DSP Seelan (who is the only constant from the first season), INSP Dayal, INSP Suhas, INSP Maya, and INSP Swathi. Like its predecessors, this season also featured similar personal drama that affected the duty of the team. This is the last season of the Vettai series, which has provided immense entertainment for the Tamil viewers.

Vettai The Force is the fourth season of the much-celebrated Tamil television serial. These cases, in the show, are handed over to this special force as they have highly capable personnel who are known for their wit and strength. They specialize in solving cases of heinous crimes such as kidnapping, murder, or sexual assault. These officers work in secrecy and don’t get any credit at all. Their solved cases are given to police to claim in front of the rest of the world. The show has different cases in each of its episodes. The fourth season also brought itself some special episodes which showed the special behind-the-scenes videos from the show. It gave the show more edge than it already had. The force released on television in December 2017 and ran on-air till March 2018.

The show had a stellar cast in place with some tremendous actors leading the show. Puravalan played the character of DSP Pradeep, Vignesh Waradarajan played DSP Seelan, Thavanesan played the character of INSP Dhayal and Seshan played the character of INSP Suhas. The show had a total of 72 episodes. This season was directed by Kumaran Sundaram and Vikneshwaran. The show aired on the popular Singaporean Tamil channel, Vasantham TV but was later bought by the Indian Tamil language channel, Zee Tamil, due to its popularity. The show was also put out for online streaming on the popular OTT platform, Zee5.
