Popular Tamil novelist Vaasanthi wrote the story and dialogues of Theekkul Viral. Lata Krishnaswamy, directed the it. This was produced by Krishnaswamy Associates (Producers of highly praised “Aezhu Thalaimurai Ezhuchhi” and “Indus Valley to Indra Gandhi”) Abhishek, who acted in “National Award” winning movie “Mogha Mull”, played lead role Prabhu and Film actress Viji Chandrasekar (Sister of Actress Saritha) acted has Kamini.
The story of this serial is, Prabhu, a wealthy young man, falls in love with a village girl Kamini (Kamini is a good looking, educated middle class girl) Prabhu and Kamini gets married.
After the marriage, Kamini finds out that Prabhu is not as genuine as she believed to be, he is a playboy. She comes to know about various extra-marital affairs of Prabhu and she is heartbroken.
Kamini's mother encourages her; she advises her that as she is educated, she should not grieve for what had happened and instead face the problems without fear. The rest of the story is about what struggles she faces to establish herself as an independent person how she gets her husband back.
