The story revolves around a small village called Subramaniapuram. The statue of a deity was stolen from the local temple, and the village has been cursed ever since. It has been experiencing uncommon happenings, including mystery deaths. Common talk in the village is that the stolen statue is in some forest. The hero sets out to find the statue to lift the curse and to find the treasure underneath it, which apparently possesses a cure for his dying father. In the forest, a Sadhu helps him find the treasure.Â
To give it an aesthetic appeal, this serial was shot in the jungles of Karnataka.
