She manages to engage with Vikram's brother, but he hasn't stopped this marriage. After the wedding, Vikram's brother learned the truth and left home without telling anyone. Due to some issues, she lost her father and thinks Vikram is responsible for her father's death, and she hates him. She tries to kill herself. The villagers rescued her and forced Vikram to take full responsibility for her, forcing them to marry. But both did not accept each other as husband and wife. After many difficulties, they support each other, fall in love, and get married again.

The story is the adaptation of a Bengali series Kusum Dola and involves around Vikram, an ips officer, and Sathya, a young, beautiful girl. While on a trip, they both meet each other and falls in love but couldn’t express their feelings to each other.

Later, Vikram gets posted to Kodaikanal. There, he accidentally loses his phone, and couldn’t contact Sathya. The story, then introduces Saranya, a daughter of a police officer.
