Nandhavanam is a Tamil TV serial that's getting aired in Star Vijay from Monday to Friday by 1.30 PM. The serial is a dubbed version of Hindi series, SasuralGendaPhool. It was originally aired in Star Plus channel from 1st of March 2010. The serial has got its dubbed versions in Bengali and Telugu languages as well.
The story moves around Suhana and Ishaan, who's the lead pair in the serial. Suhana is a born rich but spoilt girl who lives with her dad and sister Sanjana. Suhana has a boyfriend who works as a model. Ishaan is a serious, simple man who works as a software engineer and lives in the neighborhood. Whenever Suhana happens to meet Ishaan they end up in clash and arguments. Sid rejects Suhana saying that she could not fit in a marriage system. Shocked by the remark, Suhana says to her father that she'd marry any person he suggests. And for Suhana's father, Ishaan appears to be a good person and his good behavior impresses him. He tells her daughter about Ishaan and she accepts to marry him without even seeing him. On seeing Ishaan as the groom, Suhana faints on her marriage day itself. But however she marries him to teach a lesson to Sid. The ways in which she understands the goodness of Ishan and starts loving him forms the rest of the story.
