Sudhir, whose effortless acting skills have been well capitalized in soap operas, has played a septuagenarian grandfather in ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ that was aired on Star Plus. This TV show is about a rich and spoiled girl who gets married in a closed knit family. Sudhir played the role of a senior citizen who suffered from a specific kind of amnesia. His elder son takes care of household responsibilities and he enjoys his life while keeping himself fully informed of everything at home.

Sudhir has not limited himself to the small screen but he is taking interest to get better roles in big screen also. He has performed in ‘Tees Mar Khan’ with Akshay Kumar. Sudhir said in an interview that Tees Maar Khan is his 2nd film with Akshay Kumar. In his earlier film ‘Amanat’ he found Akshay to be smart and confident who is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Sudhir does not like Star-System in Bollywood and stagnant themes of dramas. He said “What we really require are new subjects and I can assure that audience is still hungry for innovative subjects but unfortunately, if a serial having rural background becomes hit then all production houses will make the serials with same theme.” 

In short, he is a versatile actor and likes innovation. He has won ‘Star Parivaar Award’ for favorite Buzurg. He has been nominated for ‘Star Guild Award’ for best actor in a drama series.
