Mahabharatham is a Tamil serial broadcast on the Sun TV channel.Mahabharatham is a Tamil adaptation of the Mahabharat. The story starts with the fight between Kaurava and Pandava for the Hastinapura. Pandu has five children with his first wife named Kunti. The first one is Yuddishthira, the second one is Bhima, and the third one is Arjuna. With his second wife named Madri, Panduhas two twin kids named Nakula and Sahadev. These brothers get married to a woman named Draupadi. After Pandu dies, his brother Dhritarashtra takes over the kingdom.Dhritarashtra has a hundred children with his wife,Gnadhari. All of these hundred kids are collectively known as the Kauravas. The eldest amongst them is named Duryodhana. Pandavasand Kauravasnaturally struggle for power during their time together and grow up hating one another.
So the Kauravas decide to end the possible reign of the Pandavasfor once and for all. So Duryodhana decides to team with Dhuyasana, Karna, and Shakuni to throw the Pandavas’ out of the kingdom. The Kauravas entice Yudhishthir to play a game of dice, as he can never resist this game. But, Shakuni is an expert in dice games, had made these dices out of his father’s bones so that he could control them. Pandavas’are defeated and awarded an exile of 12 years. During this time of Pandavas exile, the Kauravas try to kill them many times. Thus the battle of Mahabharat is fought, which the Pandavas win ultimately because of the guidance of Lord Krishna.
