Manohar is a Tamil serial actor, who was born in Salem. He has four sisters and three brothers and he is the last child in his family. After his graduation, he left Salem and reached Chennai. He joined in YGP Academy to learn acting. Later, he joined in Kala’s Kalalaya to learn dance. He worked as a dance master for two years. After that, he was provided with loads of opportunities and he used almost all of them. Yes, he has completed nearly 65 serials, right from Krishna Dasi. Almost all the serials acted by him, were telecasted in Sun TV. He has also acted in a number of films, among which Alibaba, Mahan Kanakku and Aaya Vada Sutta Kadhai are popular.

He has also acted in two Telugu serials and a Malayalam serial called Sri Ayyappan. He is interested in directing the serials and films; yet he is passionate in acting. He says he is very interested in reading books of authors like Sujatha and Bala Kumaran. His favorite place is Yercaud. About his characters, he likes his first character in Krishna Dasi and the character in Manaivi. He is acting in Mahabharatham as Karnan. This is the favorite role in his career.

He is currently acting in both positive and Negative roles simultaneously. Manohar is married to Suhashini and they have a son called Vishnuvardhan.
