Amman is a Tamil television serial that follows the story of Shakthi, a common young girl. She lives in a village with her family and lives a simple life. But she is not that common as she has special powers. She is apprehensive about her powers but it gets out and the villagers start looking at Shakthi as some sort of reincarnation figure of a powerful goddess. She becomes popular around the village. However, there is a doctor who doesn’t believe in all this and takes this whole business with a pinch of salt. Soon he starts to get irritated with this young girl and sets out to expose her. The rest of the story follows these characters as they both go about their life and purpose.
