Plot

Pappettan and Vinod are cousins. Pappettan is a medical rep, and he lives with his mother in Kerala. Vinod lives in Dubai. He dreams of building a house for his parents in Kerala. Vinod meets Gouri in Dubai and falls in love with her. While they plan to take their relationship to the next level, Vinod loses his job. Gouri plans to move to Canada for a better life. So, they decide to meet their parents in Kerala, and discuss their marriage and settle in Canada. Will they get married and shift to Canada?  

Star Performance

Neeraj Madhav, Gouri, and Aju have done fantastic jobs. They excelled in the given roles and satisfied the director and us. Anand Manmadhan, Jameela Saleem and Ann Thankam Mohan have given good support to the leads.

Analysis

The director has taken the basic premise of an NRI Malayali building a house in their hometown. Although the director has penned the characters with their own pluses and minuses, they look stereotyped. Besides showcasing the mentality of the NRI Malayalis, the director has showcased how an independent girl feels about her life and parents.

Verdict

The series is neither too good nor too bad. It has good performances and stuff. It’s definitely a decent watch, though it’s not outstanding!
