Vazhve Maayam is a TV program that is telecasted on Janam TV, a Malayalam news and entertainment channel. It airs every night for half an hour from 11 pm to 11:30 pm.
Vazhve Maayam is a political satire show which is written, produced and anchored by Dr.G. Kishor. The show features fewer news topics than the other news programs as it picks only quality content. The topics featured are social, political, economic issues and sports news. The anchor describes each subject by adding a little comedic touch to them.
He highlights the funny side of the issue, making it more entertaining to watch. The pictures and videos concerning the issue are displayed as the anchor explains it to the viewers. He also adds funny movie clippings in between the pictures and videos. For example, when someone gives a statement in an interview, he satirically adds a movie clip of where people are laughing.
