Sabaritheertham is a Religious TV show that broadcasted on Asianet TV. It is a show dedicated to Swamy Ayyappa. The show Sabaritheertham is a premium religious content in the local language.
According to its name Sabaritheertham, the show takes its viewers on a religious journey on the path to provide knowledge about Sabarimala. It also tells us the things that are unknown about Lord Ayyappa. The show features a host, who is very religious and is an expert in the God related stuff. The host tells the viewers about some facts and some myths about the temple Sabarimala that is situated in Kerala.
The show started in 2016 and it was aired from Monday to Friday at 7 a.m. and 5.55 in the evening. There are 18 gold plated steps in the temple of Sabarimala, the show reveals facts about each step and then tells the rituals and folk tales related to these gold plated steps.
In one episode, the host discussed the fact on why women are not allowed in Sabarimala temple. Some of the important episodes were on finding spirituality, the importance of Vavar nada, Ural Kuzhi, Nei Thenga, Pulippara, Manimandapam and other religious temples and gods. In one of the episodes, he told the viewers how to reach Sabarimala temple, where to stay if you are travelling from other places and he explained the right method to worship Lord Ayyappa and the rituals to follow in the temple.
