Sanjivani is the Malayalam dubbed version of the popular Hindi language television show of the same name. The show focuses on the romance between its two main protagonists while also throwing light on the life and hardships, the medical profession carries with it. The show offers a fresh and never seen perspective of Indian youth and their ambitions. The show perfectly captures the ambitious and fast-paced life of youngsters of this generation. The show focuses on two characters; one is Dr. Ishani while the other is Dr. Siddhant also called Sid. They both are opposite of each other and while it alone isn’t a problem. Conflict arises when both of them are paired together for handling operations. They both work in Sanjivani hospital, which is a popular hospital in the city.

Ishani likes to follow the rules while Sid is carefree and irresponsible. They both dislike each other but soon become good friends. Soon they both develop feelings for each other and get into a relationship. But before they go ahead and announce their relationship, another conflict arises when one of their friends gets pregnant. Her name is Asha and she gets pregnant with Aman’s child, Aman, gets scared and unable to face her, he runs away. Now to protect Asha, Sid steps in and pretends to be married to Asha. This leaves Ishani heartbroken but soon she learns the truth and her respect and love for Sid increases. The rest of the plot follows both of them as they fight and struggle to keep their relationship alive.
