A new generation of filmmakers and actors has emerged over the last ten years at the Kerala State Film Awards, bringing a shine to the industry. This shift has been so significant that the usual main superstars haven't been winning awards during this period. However, this year's highlight is the departure of one of these superstars from their regular routine. After so many years of being stuck in a predictable pattern, this actor delivered a performance that left no one in doubt regarding who deserved the Best Actor award.
