“Nimma Ayke” broadcasted on Udaya TV is a Kannada remake of the Bengali TV serial ‘Sreemoyee'. The show revolves around a woman who strives to fulfill every wish of her in-laws, husband, and children. Being a housewife is not easy for her. She wishes to get established in life and chase her dreams but is not allowed to do so. This becomes a major obstacle in her path and she faces many problems.
However, she overcomes each and every one of them after sorting out her priorities and chasing after her happiness once and for all. This often leaves her in a dark place with her close ones but she doesn’t give up on her dreams because she knows that the ones who love her will support her and not hold her back. She is portrayed as a very strong and independent character who never backs away from any obstacle in her life. She is a fierce lady who can do anything for the ones she holds close to her heart and this serves as her major strength as well as weakness.
