Inthi Nimma Asha is a TV serial aired on Star Suvarna. The show is a family drama that features clashes between family members for self-respect. The show started on 7 October 2019 and aired six days a week. It airs from Monday to Saturday in the evening. It is a women-centric show featuring a housewife as a protagonist. Ravi Kiran is the director of the serial. The housewife named Asha, played by Sangeetha, is a loving, caring Mother and wife. She loves her family and does all the household chores by herself. She has a daughter who goes to school and a husband with a business. They don't respect her and don't know her worth. She cooks different things for them, she always keeps things ready for them, but they don't even respect her, they don't recognize their hard work and always neglect her. The mother does not think about herself and selflessly does all the work. She needs nothing but love from her family members in return. She failed to get that.

Her daughter thinks she is too outdated and embarrasses her in front of her friends. Asha’s family members do not even remember her birthday and treat her badly. They all think she does nothing. She wants to fulfill all demands of her in-laws, her children, and her husband. Actor Dharma is playing the role of Asha’s husband. Asha is invited to a cooking competition, and participated in it. But, her family is unaware of it. Later her husband, Samarth, finds it out and scolds her for participating in the competition. Later Asha gets an offer to teach cooking in Nikita’s school. There is a problem Asha doesn’t speak English and asks Abhay to teach her English. She starts her new job at the school. Nikita is embarrassed and asks her to quit her job. Nikita feels ashamed that her mother is teaching in her school. Later she is suspended from the school for not attending a meeting. Her whole family is now lashing out. The rest of the story deals with how Asha manages to gain respect from the family.
