‘Satyamev Jayate -3’ was a follow-up of its previous session. The show was aired on October 5, 2014, on every channel of Star Plus and DD National. A title was given to this season. The title was ‘Mumkin Hai’. The show had brought a focus how sports can bring change to our society. In India, parents and teacher often tell students how to concentrate more on academics, and thus students lack sporting culture. The season dealt with road safety issues and acceptance of alternative sexualities in society and how to provide equal freedom to all. In this season, one episode had dealt with the biggest health problems (tuberculosis) that India is facing.
Similarly, the show took up issues like mental problems which deals with the thoughts and feelings of a person suffering from acute depression. Finally, the show concentrated on masculine power that destroys the society. The trailer of the show had even related to woman’s issues who are the victim of domestic violence.
It also focused on male gender issues, how a drunkard man would beat his wife and children. Another topic was how child abuse often happens in the country. In every show, a prominent person would be interviewed, and his impression and views too would be taken into consideration.
