The Weaker Sex is a Hindi language web series made for Hungama Digital Media Entertainment. The series explores the life of a girl named Deepa, a newly married woman who awaits the arrival of her first child with so much excitement. The series’ story focuses on the difficulties of family dynamics and societal expectations around gender. But her excitement weakens as her mother-in-law, Baa, strongly desires a baby boy and pressures Deepa for it. The series takes digs into Indian society and the challenges women face within this system. Later due to Baa’s forcing, they approaches to the doctor for baby’s gender revealing but the doctor refuses, which leads to much more problems between Deepa and Baa. Â
