Jeetendra was born in Kaithal, Haryana. Then he studied at Government Higher Secondary School, Kaithal and R.K.S.D college Kaithal/ Kurukshetra university. He is a Mumbaikar now.
Jeetendra is a Punjabi at heart. He likes Punjabi food, Punjabi literature, however he has embraced the Mumbaikar spirit, and he can speak Mumbaiyya Hindi quite well. Whenever he gets an opportunity, he likes to entertain his fans by sharing light-hearted jokes/ performing skits in Mumbaiyya style. He/ his fans do have few such videos of him on Youtube. Apart from this, Jeetendra can work well in serious characters too because of his observational skills and his experience through the years.
