Kaal Bhairav Rahasya-2 Hindi TV SERIALS on Star Bharat
Written By - Team Nettv4u

The Indian thriller television series Kaal Bhairav Rahasya had two seasons. The series aired from October 2017 to April 2019. The show's storylines were based on written works by Indra Soundarrajan. The first season follows the plot of his Tamil novel, A Secret (Ragasiyamaga Oru Ragasiyam). The second season is based on Soundarrajan's supernatural thriller tale, The Palace of Kottaipuram (KottaiPurathu Veedu). Although the two seasons featured different casts, many actors appeared in both seasons as other characters. Star Maa has dubbed the series in Telugu as Kala Bhairava Rahasyam and aired it.

The story starts in 1868, with a woman named Lali trying to escape from King Vikram Singh and his guards while carrying her child. Lali seeks refuge in Kaal Bhairav's temple but is captured by the king, who kills her son and rapes her. The villagers arrive at the temple, but the king has already killed her. Lali curses the king that all his future successors will die before they turn 30, and his lineage will end.

The story then shifts to the present day. Veervardhan, also known as Veer, is a descendant of the evil king. He lives happily in Bhopal, away from the cursed Kanak Garh Palace, and proposes to his friend Archie. However, when Veer receives a call from his elder brother, Yashvardhan, he is reminded of the curse. On Yashvardhan's 30th birthday, Veer visits the palace to find that his brother is in hiding, waiting for the curse to pass.

Yashvardhan then gets  fatally stabbed in the back by a trident during the final moments. His death prompts police officer Sumer Singh to launch an investigation, but Singh vanishes, leading many to believe he was punished by Kaal Bhairav. To keep herself safe, Archie is advised to leave Kanak Garh by Veer, who fears Nagveli peasants are planning to attack him. However, Veer is shot at Yashvardhan's funeral and must rely on Archie's assistance to survive. Fearing for his life, Veer flees Kanakgarh and urges Archie to do the same, promising to reunite with her in Bhopal within two days.

Maharani discovers Veer's plan and alerts all security personnel to prevent his escape. The villagers of Kanak Garh are afraid of Lord Kaal Bhairav's wrath after Veer escapes, and they decide to leave. Archie also runs from the palace and joins the fleeing villagers. Laila's drifting soul stops them midway. Ill omens begin to haunt the villagers in Veer’s absence, and Kaal Bhairav converts humans into earthen lamps. Unable to escape, the villagers take refuge in the Kaal Bhairav temple, where Rajguru orders them to trap Archie to lure Veer back to the palace. Archie runs away from the temple and calls Dolly to stop Veer from returning to Kanak Garh.

She then calls Kedar for help and gets caught by the villagers. Meanwhile, Veer learns from Dolly that Archie is in trouble and returns to Kanakgarh to help her. When he reaches the village, he is asked to flog his family members with a whip as a punishment for breaking the curse's rules. To Archie's surprise, when Veer fulfils the punishment, the earthen lamps kept in the shrine of the temple get replaced by the villagers covered in a thick cloud of smoke.

A swayamvar (bride-choosing ceremony) is held for Veer, and four women, including Archie, are selected to pass a challenging test that could result in their deaths. The sole survivor would become Veer's wife. Veer decides to face the test with Archie. As part of the test, they must go to Laila's abandoned house and fetch black mud from the idol of Lord Kaal Bhairav. When they reach there, Veer sees the headless spirits of his ancestors praying along with Laila's soul. Archie follows Laila's spirit toward the forest to lift her curse upon Veer and his family. Veer runs after her but gets attacked by Kaal Bhairav while Archie gets killed. Veer is rescued by Bhairavi. She  claims to be Kaal Bhairav's daughter.

She reveals some dark secrets of the royal family members, replacing the dog with Sumer Singh in a closed room and claiming to be the only one who can bring Archie back. Revati gets anxious as her son, Jai, does not have royal blood. Meanwhile, Kedar sees the same dog that everyone presumes as Officer Sumer Singh and spots Bhairavi with a woman dressed up as Lali's drifting soul. He starts believing everything is a scam concocted by Bhairavi and records everything on his phone. Veer learns that Kedar is his stepbrother, and he rushes to the forest to save him, but Kedar has already been killed.

Archie returns, and Veer decides to marry Bhairavi. Archie and Sumer try to expose Bhairavi but fail. However, with Tittu's help, Archie and Veer get married. Kedar's brother, Neeraj, blames Veer for Kedar's death and joins Bhairavi in her evil plans. Archie finds a secret tunnel inside the palace. Bhairavi tries to kill Veer, but Archie saves him. Archie and Sumer are abducted by Bhairavi and see her taking orders from a man wearing Kaal Bhairav's mask, whom she calls "Bhagwan." Veer sees Bhairavi's true colours, and Bhagwan instructs Bhairavi to kill Veer. A monk saves Veer and Archie, but Bhairavi gets injured. The monk tells Veer that Bhairavi's brother is being held by Bhagwan, who is forcing her to kill Veer. Veer rescues Bhairavi's brother. Archie discovers that Bhagwan is, in fact, Veer's mother who is trying to kill him to break the curse. Archie exposes her to everyone.

Following the death of Maharani, a prophecy arises predicting the death of one royal per week. In an attempt to kill Veer, Maharani's ghost possesses Bhairavi, but her attempt fails, and she dies. Lord Kaal Bhairav signals Archie in a dream, aiding her in locating the bearded man, who is later revealed to be Rajguru in disguise. Rajguru has kept the royal princesses hostage and killed Kedar to avenge his sister's death, Lali. Veer learns that the king responsible for Lali's death was not a royal. Brahmanand, Lali's wicked heir, is the true mastermind behind the conspiracy against the royal family. Brahmanand uses different people as pawns in his game. With the assistance of Lord Kaal Bhairav, Veer and Archie defeat Brahmanand and live happily ever after.
