The show is a biopic which presents the story of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, and his journey from a young poor boy with an underprivileged background, to a thriving Indian jurist, economist, politician, social reformer and writer. Dr Ambedkar was an eminent personality and brought good changes in society through his dedication and hard work. 

The show starts with this five-year-old young boy, Bhimrao, played by Ayudh Bhanushali. Even though he is not privileged enough, he tries to excel in his studies and becomes a kind-hearted little fellow.  How does the poor boy deal with his situation? Is he able to become a successful man? Does he keep facing discrimination against his caste?
