Pankaj Vishnu is a well known name in Marathi serials as well as films is quite popularly remembered as Ajit, a negative character in . His negative character of Ajit n Pavitra Rishta, has earned him quite a bit of recognition in the Hindi TV serials. The show Pavitra Rishta revolves around the characters of Archana and Manav. The actor has performed several short cameos in Balaji Telefilms shows and was last seen in Meri Doli Tere Angna that was telecasted on Zee TV. He has been closely associated with theatre for about the last 15 years. In fact, he started at an early age as a child artist in children's plays and then late on moving towards the mainstream Marathi and Hindi commercial plays. One of his famed dramas is “Alladdin ka Jin Ho Gaya Tak Dhin Na Dhin”. In the year 2002, his acting performance was awarded the “Face of the Year” by Maharashtra times as well as zee award for “Best Actor” in a supporting role for a Zee Marathi show. He has got several applauds for many characters that he has played. Some of the latest roles he played include freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in the film ‘Krantiveer Rajguru’. In addition to this, he has acted in several Marathi films such as Man Sanman, Shevatchya Purava, Paul Khuna, Jivapad, Navra Hawa All-rounder and many more. He even acted in the Hindi film ‘’ as a gangster under the directorial guidance of K. Ashwak. Pankaj is accredited to give over 2000 successful episodes of a running TV series such as ‘’, ‘’, ‘Avdhachi Sansar’ as well as ‘Adhuru Ek Kahani’. He was taught at workshops conducted by theatre Gurus such as Pt.Satyabdev Dubey, Waman Kendre, and Jaydev Hattangdi amidst others. Currently he is doing a Hindi serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’ on Zee TV where he is playing the negative role of Ajit Lokhande.
