Hankaar is a thriller web series that premiered on Hungama Play in 2018. The story focuses on five individuals roped into the world of unorganised crime. These five individuals include James, a drug dealer; Joy, a coder and hacker; Mangesh, a security guard of an underworld don; Pradeep, a broker; and Nisha, a social worker. The lives of these ordinary people turn into a rollercoaster ride when they fall into the trap of Zubair or "Z", a dreaded gangster. Soon, the interconnection took place among the individuals as they realize they shared the same rival.
