Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and model. She was born on 5th January 1986. Deepika is one of the most famous celebrities. She is working in Bollywood films and won two film fare awards. She is the daughter of the badminton trouper Prakash Padukone. Copenhagen was the birth place of Deepika. She was raised in Bangalore. She frolicked badminton in national level championship in her teenage but later on she switched her career from spots and became a model. Konkona Sen Sharma is a Bollywood actress hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. She was born on 3 December 1979 in a Bengali family. She completed her schooling at the Calcutta International School and later moved to Delhi for a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Delhi University’s most prestigious college- St. Stephen’s. Cinema has already been existent in her genetic roots. Her mother, Aparna Sen, is a noted actress and director in Bengali cinema. Moreover, she is the granddaughter of Chidananda Dasgupta, a film critic who also established the Calcutta Film Society. In 1983, the four-year-old Konkona was first seen on the big screen in a Bengali film titled ‘Indira’. Chitrashi Rawat hails from Dehradun Uttarakhand. She was a good hockey player since her childhood and represented her school and college in many matches. She played in National Level Women's Hockey for her state and she is a regular player in national Hockey.

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, India. Bachchan's father was a prestigious Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh socialite. Being his parents’ first born, he has a junior male sibling resembling to his name Ajitabh. Bachchan went to Sherwood College before enlisting in Delhi University to complete his B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He became a cargo dealer in Calcutta after completing his graduation. Amitabh Bachchan married to Jaya Bhaduri and has one son named Abhishek and one daughter named Shweta. Bachchan's father passed on in 2003 and his mother in 2007.

In 1969, Bachchan made his film debut in Saat Hindustani a film administered by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas which won him the National Film Award for Best Newcomer. By the early 1970s, Bachchan had collected fame in crowds as the "Angry Young Man" in an arrangement of successful Hindi gimmick movies. His featuring part in Zanjeer was especially instrumental in propelling him to fame as an action-movie film legend. In the annals of Hindi cinema, instances of stellar performances from child actors are neither a new nor a rare phenomenon. It has been happening right from the days of black and white cinema, with names of stars like Daisy Irani, baby Naaz or even baby Nanda coming to mind from that era. Many of these child stars had however lost their “child star” status after continuing or entering films in their grown up ages, with only a few names sticking to the mind as child stars. Darsheel Safary of “Taare Zameen Par” fame, however, belongs to a totally different mould, as experienced movie goers would immediately admit. Most child actors in Hindi films, over the years, have portrayed or made to portray “puffed” up roles, where the innocence associated with a child had been sacrificed for theatrical needs. Moreover, in a majority of cases, the characters assigned were typically that of normal kids, portrayed either in circumstances of suffering or neglect on the one hand or in situations of parental pampering. Seldom, however, a child character has been portrayed in the rather deglamourised role of one suffering from an inherent internal disability. Here is one instance of a child character playing a rather mature role, if one can describe it as such. Volumes have been written about Darsheel’s acting in the film, but perhaps the best tribute came from one critic who said that ‘he did not act, he made us believe that he really was suffering from dyslexia!” 

Yet, if one looks at his background, he had more inclinations towards dancing, rather than acting, being spotted from Shiamak Davar’s dance school by the discerning eyes of script writer Amol Gupte. Perhaps it was a coincidence that Darsheel’s father also had been a child star having appeared as the young Chanakya in the 1990 DD serial of that name. Currently trying to complete his studies in college, Darsheel had once confessed his desire to become a businessman or jewellery designer, in addition to pursuing his passion for dancing and singing. Now all of 19 years in 2015, Darsheel is not sure how he would like his acting career to proceed, although he has already acted in two films after “Tare Zameen Par”, including the historical “Midnight’s Children” in 2014.

Amol Gupte was born in 1962 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a prominent screenplay writer, actor and a director as well. He is particularly regarded for his work in the Bollywood movie 'Taare Zameen Par', which got released in the year 2007. He did as a creative director and a screenplay writer. He did acquire the movie and its concept along with his wife Deepa Bhatia. He had also been the chairperson for the Children's film society right from 2012 till now. As right now, he has directed three movies and worked as a screenplay writer for three movies.

His notable works include Chak De India, Singh Is Kinng, Bluffmaster, Chalte Chalte, Namastey London, Krrish. He has even won many awards for the movie Chak De India. He was born in Mumbai. He did his master's from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, in the subject of Business Administration. His major subjects were Finance and Systems. He further went to Film & Television Institute of India, in Pune and graduated from there. It is one of the prestigious institutes of learning filming, direction, editing and acting. When we talk about the few legends in the Indian film Industry then it becomes inevitable to take the name of Mithun Chakraborty; more commonly known as Mithun Da.  His real name is Gouranga Chakraborty, and he was born on 16th of June 1950. Shekhar Ravjiani is a renowned Indian music director, composer, and singer. Shekhar was born on 29th November 1978 in Kutch district of Gujarat State. He was born to a share trader named Hasmukh Ravjiani; who always supported Shekhar to pursue his passion of music. Shekhar had a flair for music right from his childhood, and he had received training in music under the mentorship of Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan. Wajid Ali is a part of the most popular Hindi music composer duo of Sajid Wajid. He comes from a family of authentic musicians and started his training at an early age of 7 from the known musicians Ustad Allarakah Khan and Das Babu. His father is Ustad Sharafat Khan, a well known Tabla player. He and his brother worked on an album with his father before starting their own career, but for some unknown reason that album never got released.

Sajid Ali is an Indian music director. He worked for the Hindi film industry. He was born on 22^nd August 1966 in Lahore, Pakistan. Sajid is a multi-talented music director with other skills are Associate Director, Screenplay Writer, Story Writer, and Director. He worked for many Bollywood movies like Dabangg 3, Twins, Love In Paris, Bullet Raja, Dolly Ki Doli, Himmatwala, Rowdy Rathore, Houseful 2, and many more. He worked with big Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh, etc. Sajid won nine awards and nine nominations for his work in the film Dabangg, Partner, Mujhse Shadi Karogi, Dabangg 2, and Rowdy Rathore. He is the cousin of well-known actress Salma Agha.

Sandesh Shandilya is an Indian musician working in Bollywood. He is also a singer and composes music for films. He is famous for his music album Piya Basanti which came out in 2001. Shandilya was born in Agra on 19th February 1968. He lived there up to the age of21. His father taught military science at a college. Shandilyafelt a connection towards music from a young age. So he got himself to get trained from Shri Ram Bhartiya Kala Kendra in Delhi.

Aditya Chopra is an Indian film director, scriptwriter and producer. He directed the movies Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1995, then Mohabbatein in 2000 and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. He is currently the Chair Person of YRF group which has thrived for solid 45 years in the Multi-National film industry.

Prasoon Joshi is an Indian poet, writer, lyricist and also an advertising guru. He is also the President of the McCann Worldgroup in South Asia and the CEO of McCann Wordgroup in India. He won the Best Lyricist award at the Filmfare for two consecutive times from 2007 to 2008. In year 2014, he received the same award for the biographical sports drama film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He also won the Best Lyricist award at the National Film Award twice; one for Aamir Khan’s drama film, Taare Zameen Par and another one for the historical war drama film, Chittagong.

Prasoon was born on September 16, 1971 in Uttarakhand, India and spent most of his childhood days in Almora. His father is D.K. Joshi, a PCS Officer and his mother is Sushma Joshi, a political science lecturer who has been part of the All India Radio for over 30-years. Prasoon starter his career in writing at the early age of 17. He wrote his first book, Main Aur Woh which was inspired by Thus Spake Zarathustra by Frederich Nietzsche. Subsequently, he wrote two more books which established him as an author. He launched his book, Sunshine Lanes on January 2013 at the Jaipur Literature Festival. He studied Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Physics until he was elected to took a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India. At the same time, he decided to start his venture in advertising.

Prasoon started his career in one of the leading agencies worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather in New Delhi. For more than a decade, he worked as a Creative Star and became an Executive Creative Director in the leading office in Mumbai. In 2002, he also worked as the Executive Vice President and the National Creative Director of the global advertising agency, the McCann Erikson and later became the Regional Creative Director for South and South East Asia. He was also one of the juries in the reality singing competition show, Dhoom Macha De which was aired on NDTV Imagine in 2007. He has won over 200 national and international award for his advertising work, as a lyricist and as a scriptwriter. He was married to Aparna, an advertising professional with whom she met at O&M Delhi and her daughter’s name is Aishaanya.

Shimit Amin is a well-known director and is familar as the man behind the making of ‘Chak De! India’, one of the most well-received films in the history of Bollywood. Shimit Amin was born in the capital city of Uganda, known as Kampala. Although Shimit was born in the city of Kampala, his family later moved to the United States of America, where they got settled in Florida. As he grew up in the city of Florida, Amin had a natural inclination towards filmmaking and wanted to pursue it from a very young age. But he opted to follow his parents’ advice and pursued graduation in mathematics. 

Mani Ratnam is an Indian filmmaker deeply rooted to mainstream Indian cinema. His all films have garnered commercial success. This great filmmaker successfully combined features of both art and commercial cinema, an early example of this was ‘Roja’( a love story that gets lost in country’s terrorism issues), which was both a commercial and critical success. It paved the way for a new wave in Indian cinema too. Man Ratnam became thus one of India’s most successful filmmakers, who also reflected the changing middle-class-ethos (Alaipayuthey).

Born on 10th September 1972, Anurag Kashyap has established himself in Bollywood as a prominent director, producer, and screenwriter while even giving acting a try.  A born and raised Uttar Pradeshi, Kashyap had keen interest in science and aimed to become a scientist. In an interview Anurag said that he had no dreams of going into the film industry and had all hopes of pursuing Zoology. He went on to say, this all changed in 1993 after he watched Bicycle Thieves, an Italian film directed by Vittorio De Sica. The film inspired him enough to give us becoming a scientist and move to Dehli to become a filmmaker.    

Anurag got his first chance in the industry as a screenwriter for Auto Narayan when the initial script by Subramaniam was not working and Anurag was given a chance to rewrite it. He then wrote the screenplay for Jayate, a Hansal Mehta film, which was never released. Ram Gopal Varma was impressed by Anurag’s work in Auto Narayan and signed him for the screenplay and dialogue for his thriller, Satya. The film was critically acclaimed as one of the best crime, gangster movie of Bollywood. He then dabbled with production after some time with his director debut in Paanch. The movie faced trouble with the certification board due to the content not being suitable for all.  In 2012, he took on two ambitious movies in Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2, which received numerous awards and outstanding reviews. He recently produced and directed Bombay Velvet, which is currently in theatre and has received praise from critics.

Imtiaz Ali, is a well-known multi talented Indian Film Director, Actor, Producer and Writer who was born on 16th June, 1971. He was born and brought up in Jamshedpur. He finished his primary education from ‘St. Michaels High School’, Patna and secondary and higher education from ‘D.B.M.S English School’, Jamshedpur.

Akshay Kumar was born on 9th September 1967 and his birth name is ‘Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia’. He is a great Bollywood actor who has acted in more than 100 movies. He is also a producer and martial artist. He has won The Filmfare awards a couple of times. He started off his career as an actor in 1990s, where he had stricken with action based movies initially. He has been greatly appreciated for his drama, romance and comic roles. He is considered to be the only Bollywood actor whose net box office collection is 20 million rupees. He has done a lot of dangerous stunts in movies without a body double. This did gain a name for him as 'Indian Jackie Chan'.

Abhishek Bachchan, or Abhishek Srivastava, is a very well known famous celebrity in the Indian film industry. He is the son of Bollywood’s biggest iconic stars, Amitabh Bachchan, who made more than 100 films in his acting career and won over 30 awards. Abhishek is also known by the name Junior B. He was born on February 5th, 1976, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Shah Rukh Khan or also known as SRK is a prominent Indian film actor, television personality and producer. He was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India. He is often called as the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’, ‘King Khan’ and ‘King of Bollywood’. The actor has done more than 80 films in Bollywood. He was cited as ‘The World’s Biggest Movie Star’ by the Los Angeles Times. Khan is also one of the wealthiest actors in the world, with over $400–600 million net worth. He also won several accolades including the 14 Filmfare Awards.

Khan went to St. Columba’s School in Delhi where he topped in studies and sports like football and hockey, where he got the Sword of Honour Award, a school’s highest award. He acted in several stage plays and gained praises for mimicking Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz. He studied at Hansraj College from 1985 to 1988 to get a degree in Economics but the actor spent much of his time in attending the Theatre Action Group (TAG) in Delhi. He studies acting through his mentor, Director Barry John. Later, Khan studied at Jamia Millia Islamia and took up a degree in Mass Communications, but he left it to enter the showbiz industry.
