Punyi Pukur is a Bengali series that started airing on Star Jalsha on 7th December 2015 and 28th May 2017. Magic Moments Motion Pictures bankrolled the series.
Kankon is a village girl who lives with her mom, Hoimonti. Basumati, Kankon’s aunt, and her sister, Chuti, always love Kankon. Biswanath is an idol maker, and Kankon learns it from him. Kankon gets married to Somudro, a professor. Somudro doubts Riju to be Kankon’s lover. Actually, Kankon’s marriage was fixed to Riju, but it didn’t happen due to certain circumstances. Although Kankon didn’t love Riju, her husband suspects her. To irritate Kankon, Somudro tells her that he loves Sayoni. Kankon gets hurt, and to increase her jealousy, Somudro brings Sayoni home. What happens next? Is Somudro lying, or is his relationship with Sayoni true?
