The series is also streaming on JioCinema.  The serial follows the journey of a junior artist, Sheetala Sikder, in becoming a Tollywood star, Shila. Sheetala is a small-town girl who dreams of becoming a Tollywood star.

Hence, she traveled to Tollywood and started working as a Junior artist, Shila. She takes on any small role and gives her hundred percent in every performance. However, despite her hard work, she did not get a suitable chance to showcase her talent. She remains adamant about achieving her goals even after facing the harsh reality of life. She clings to the hope of realizing her dreams.

Suddha is a studious boy who belongs to a prestigious family. He has returned to India after finishing his studies abroad. His family arranged his marriage to a girl of their choice. However, despite studying in a foreign country, Suddha is a teetotaler and does not like partying and drinking alcohol. One day, he saw his fiancé drinking alcohol at her spinster party and immediately felt repulsed by the girl. He called off his wedding and cooked up a lie about already having a girlfriend. One lie leads to another, and he finds himself trapped in his web of lies. 

Now, Suddha’s family wanted to meet the so-called girlfriend. Hence, Suddha desperately started to search for a girl who could become his fake girlfriend. His search ends with Sheela, and he offers her to act as his girlfriend in real life. Initially, Sheela refuses his offer many times but accepts it eventually. She takes it as a new acting project where she can become the leading lady but in real life. As they spent more time together, the duo fell in love. The story encounters many twists and turns, ending on a happy note. Ritobrota Dey played the role of Sheetala (also known as Sheela), and Indranil Chatterjee became Suddha.

The story revolves around a young woman, Shila. She is a free-spirited and cheerful girl. Everybody loves her bubbly and friendly nature. Shila wants to be a famous actress. She tries hard to fulfill her ambitions but she ends up as a junior artist. As a junior artist, she rarely gets work on-screen. When she gets roles, she has to act as a part of a crowd. Shila wants to be famous and works hard to get noticed. Life has other plans for her as she prays to be an actress. She comes across a young man, Sudda.

Sudda is a well-mannered and educated person. He is uptight about his own opinions. He has studied in a foreign university and is now back in India. His family is looking for prospects to get married. Sudda initially did not want to get married but gave in due to family pressure. The family chooses a lady whom Sudda agrees to get married to. On the night of the bachelorette party, the bride drinks and has fun with her friends. As Sudda is a non-drinker, he finds this activity disgusting. He calls off the wedding. To save the bride from humiliation, he claims he has a girlfriend. 

Sudda’s family was surprised as he had never mentioned it before. They persist in meeting his girlfriend. He realizes he is deep in his lies. In haste, he tries to find a perfect girl who can act as his girlfriend to convince his family. He comes across Shila and offers her to act. She denied the offer as she wanted to focus on her career. Later, Shila gets convinced and takes up the role of Sudda’s girlfriend. Initially, what started as an act became real. Shila and Sudda start falling for each other. Sudda has to choose between Sudda and her dreams.
