The TV series opens up with Bithi, a middle-aged housewife whose life revolves around the routine of household chores. Despite the apparent weariness in her life, Bithi harbors a passion for travel. Interestingly, her daughter-in-law, Mohona, makes persistent efforts to uplift her spirits and even goes so far as to purchase a ticket for a journey to Darjeeling. However, Bithi doesn't welcome Mohona's gesture due to unknown reasons.

As the story proceeds, a significant development occurs. Sasuri Bouma, the mother-in-law, and the daughter-in-law evolve into good friends, fostering a deepening bond. This newfound friendship becomes pivotal in the story, suggesting a positive shift in their relationship dynamics. The series explores how these two characters navigate and overcome the obstacles that may have initially strained their connection.
