The story is about a village girl, Shyamoli, visiting Kolkata for the first time. She travels by train. She has the address of the place to visit in Kolkata in her bag. When she falls asleep, somebody steals her bag. She loses the address but remembers only the name of the person whom she has to meet and the bus stop where she has to land. After much effort, she lands in the place but is unable to find the person she has to meet. A guy who lies to her that he will help her, tries to sell her, but she manages to escape from that place. She meets Aniket, a businessman in Kolkata, who assures to help her. Will he take her to the person who she has to meet? Is he trustworthy? The rest of the series showcases the life of the village girl who settles in Kolkata.
