Dr. Ujaan Chatterjee is one of the top cardiologists in the world. He is a short-tempered person, who focuses only on his job. Hiya Mitra is an aspiring doctor from a village who is sweet and compassionate. Hiya gets a place in a medical college, a part of Tulip Hospital run by Dr. Samaresh Chatterjee, father of Ujaan. As the college fee was high, Hiya gets back to her village. However, she helps people by working in the health camps. During one such camp, she meets Dr. Samaresh Chatterjee. He was suffering from knee pain for a long. Hiya suggests ayurvedic treatment for his knee pain, and attracted by her character, Samaresh invites her to Kolkata. She meets him at his home and helps him in the treatment. She meets Dr. Ujaan and considers him as her guru. But, Ujaan didn’t like her as she interferes with others’ issues. Soon, the situation changes, and Ujaan moves close with Hiya. Ujaan’s parents are separated, and his dad married Meenakshi and Ujaan grows with his father as an adopted son. So, Ujaan had always felt bad about his father, but he had never spoken about this. Hiya takes steps to unite him with his mother. Soon, Hiya finds out that she has a big problem in her heart and she would not live long. At the same time, Ujaan expresses his feelings for her, but Hiya didn’t accept his proposal. She thought that Ujaan might feel hurt if he comes to know about her disease. So, she wanted to maintain distance from him. What will happen when Ujaan knows the truth? Will they get married? The rest of the story deals with it.
