Bisorjon is a Bengali serial that aired on ETV Bangla and focuses on a young girl named Shailaja. The story is based in the village of Sahaypur. Sahaypur’s zamindar is named Krishnasahay, whose financial status is shown to be unstable during the time period in which the show is set. But he doesn’t let that stop him from trying to fulfil his only daughter Shailaja’s wish of getting her doll’s married. Residents of their own village, as well as those of the surrounding villages, are invited to attend the wedding.
Zamindar Shakti Choudhary and his son Shamantak are also invited from the adjacent village. Shailaja is secretly in love with Shamantak but Shamantak is attracted towards another woman named Kamallata. On the day of the doll’s marriage, the groom doll breaks due to a series of events set forth because of the storm. Whether the marriage will be left destroyed or whether Shailaja succeeds to stop Shamantak from loving Kamallata constitutes the rest of the serial.
