. Barrister Babu revolved around the story of Bondita, a young girl. She felt compelled to marry a 60-year-old man. Her life, however, took a devastating turn when her husband died. Even though she was a victim of societal injustice, she maintained a positive attitude. Anirudh, a 19-year-old Barrister who returned from London and wanted to widen women's rights, was the result of fate. He always wanted to eliminate practices and ideas that hampered women's advancement.
He believed that women should be free of cultural stereotypes. Anirudh had vowed to challenge the status quo, as well as to help Bondita in locating her true identity. He showed her the steps she needed to become a Barrister. Will Anirudh's goal to obtain freedom for his country's women be successful?
